It is around 5pm in Singapore, and the next flight is tomorrow early morning 5.30am. Since there is a lot of free time, so he decide not to waste the precious time and exploring the airport which is one of the world best International Airports.

Journey to the West: Penang- Singapore

Back to end of May 2011. A guy which had just graduated from a varsity institution carry a bag pack and a small luggage embarks his journey to a country where Ipod, Ipad, Iphone, IMac are invented, United States of America. With the excitement and joyful mood, he is taking about 23 hours flight flying from Penang Island and transit via Singapore, Hong Kong, and Chicago to reach the final destination, Cleveland.

Burn flight ticket again

Todays very blur. Oops... Should said this week I am very blur. This is not mine first time missed the flight. This is my third times missed the flight in this year and is the most expensive to buy a new flight ticket. Hope this is my last time and not to repeat it again. Today not my day.

Is time to go back to the place where I belong to...

After 4 months away from my beloved Penang. Now is time to go back home. Now at Changi Airport waiting for the connecting flight to Penang :)

Last Stops in the states: Hawaii

Very soon, I'll back to my beloved hometown, cleaner and greener Penang. Is time to put a stop in US, but I'll be back in someday. Now enjoying my last day in Honolulu, Hawaii before heading back tomorrow. Aloha Hawaii :)

Time to travel

After hard work during the whole summer to earn dollar. Now is time to give myself a rest and travel around the states. My first stop is Orlando. Now waiting for my flight departure at Cleveland airport :)

This 3 months I did not update my blog because I was freaking busy earning money...work about 12 hrs a day... I'm not crazy about money but I need it for my travel after I ended job... So need to work hard and enjoy then...

The proverb saying goes: all works and no play makes a jack dull

Yay! So now I'm having a short break at Chicago city for 3 days. I reach here yesterday and went to Shedd Aquarium, it is a big aquarium and home to many species of the aquatic life. The most amazing part is watching the Dolphin life show... After that we went to Giordano restaurant having deep dish pizza which is a must eat food in Chicago..

And today we will going to visit Willis tower and other attraction places in Chicago.. So stay tune :)

Today 29/5, I start my adventure journey to the West.
My first stop is at Changi Airport, Singapore.
Tonight will stay here and continue my journey tomorrow early morning to Cleveland via HK and Chicago.
Estimate will reach Cleveland on 30/5 (US date).

被 Air Asia 放飞机

At this moment I should taking my flight to Bintulu. However, something terrible and horrible things happen, Air Asia had change the time to Bintulu from evening to morning without notice me (normally they will sms and email). I really pissed off at that moment >.@

I only realize something wrong when I failed to check-in twice by using the self check-in kiosk machine, then officer standing beside the kiosk asked me go to the counter to get my boarding pass. Then I queue up at the counter and pass my document to the counter officer to help me print the boarding pass and surprisingly he found out that my flight already took off this morning and the worse case is only one flight per day flying to Bintulu. At this moment, I was totally blank and no idea what to do. Then the officer refer me to the Air Asia service counter, luckily they allowed me to change my flight to tomorrow morning. But in my heart I am thinking that although they allowed me change the flight but I only has less than 24hours travelling in Bintulu, because I purchased my return ticket is on Sunday (initially is 840pm and now after re-time is 10.45am). Really a big mess!

Since, they change my itinerary without my concern, then I also has my right to change my itinerary (consumer right?). So, I ask the officer can I defer my Sunday flight to Monday? then he reply YES. But in the mean time, I also doubt that my friend in Bintulu is not available to send me to airport, so I call up my friend, ask him whether is it okay for him to fetch me to airport on Monday morning? As what I predicted, he is not available untill afternoon. So, I decide to defer one more day, which mean I only back to Kuching on Tuesday.

After settle the itinerary, I call up my friend to pick me up from airport and return to university. This is my first time encounter such problem. From this incident, shouldn't trust any airline (MAS also) and do frequently check the flight departure time before a day.

Short Vacation to Bintulu

After having 2 consecutive mid term exams today, I almost exhausted. So, is time for me to recharge back energy and also let my brain to rest for few days. After return from this short trip only continue fight the remaining battles (final year report and tons of assignments). Oh ya, the place that I'm gonna visit tomorrow is a small town in Sarawak, Bintulu, which is famous of natural gas. If you still have no idea, you can google search it =) Okay, I write till here, is time to start packing my baggage.

p/s: Pray that tomorrow Air Asia don't delay the flight :)

My footprint to US is getting nearer and nearer =)

Last weekend, I purposely flew from Kuching to KL just to attend the road show in Parkroyal KL. As the employers from USA are coming to interview us and hire those who are qualified. Surprisingly, the questions asked from the employer is very simple. I think they just wanna make sure we can speak English. As long as you can speak, you will definitely get the job on the spot. Before the day, I am quite nervous, I should take it easy :) The job I get is food host, basically is to sell the food inside the park. Hopefully it is an easy job and I can cope with. The most important is can work more hours to earn more paid. So I can buy the latest Ipad and Iphone this year. hehehe....

After confirmation of the job, next stage is to get US visa from the embassy. Which mean that I will flying again along the way to KL from Kuching in this few weeks. Hopefully the flight ticket at that time will be not expensive. At this moment I just can wait for the agent to prepare the working document done and confirm the date to US embassy for interview. Pray that everything will go smoothly from stage to stage.

Flying to Sabah on 13 Sept 2010

This is my first time flying alone from Kuching Airport to Kota Kinabalu. But not my first time step on Sabah land, this is my third times visit KK. First time was on 2008 to attend Boys' Brigade National Camp at University Malaysia Sabah (UMS); and second times flying to Sabah was to travel and visit around Sabah (Kota Kinabalu, Tawau, Semporna, Sandakan, Kudat) with friends on 2009. This times I visit Sabah again is carry a mission, which is conquer one of the highest mountains in Southeast Asia, Mount Kinabalu.

Challenge Mt. Santubong

On 28th August 2010, 7 youngsters were gathered and challenge one of the famous mountain in Kuching, Mt. Santubong.

Its takes us 3 hours to reach the peak of the mountain and another 3 hours to go down.
